2023/2024 COK Event Schedule
October 7, 2023 to April 13, 2024
Event Navigation
Back by popular demand – orienteering is scheduled for the southern Piedmont region of these United States!
This fabulous outdoor sport, that requires as much brain as it does brawn, is open to the general public and is suitable for all ages. Events are hosted by the non-profit, all-volunteer Carolina Orienteering Klubb where each event has multiple options for every level of navigational skill. Newbies can receive instruction and an easy course to acquire the basics while others with some experience can find courses with just-off-the-trail travel or ones that sometimes veer off into a different time zone.
As with anything in life – this schedule of events is subject to change for a variety of reasons; but nevertheless you can use it for planning purposes. The club relies entirely on the gracious contribution of volunteers to handle all the logistics and lately there’s not enough folks to commit to event management (hint, hint). No experience necessary for some club tasks; but we’re really interested in seasoned navigators who can design and set-out courses. Please consider donating a little of your time this season to help keep this adventurous sport continuing in our region.
Please browse through this COK website if you’re unfamiliar with how orienteering and club activities work since there’s a plethora of valuable information. Questions or comments?
