What a gorgeous spring day to be orienteering! Thank you all for participating and special thanks to our volunteers who make the meets possible. First time course setters, Jennifer and Kris DeBerry, appreciated the feedback and support.

Attendance stats:

  • 5 high schools with over 50 JROTC cadets
  • Over 60 COK participants
  • 10 volunteers

Participants traveled all the way from West Jefferson, Asheville, and Montgomery County in NC and Great Falls, SC to attend.

This event marks the end of the 23/24 season.  The next schedule will be up sometime in the summer; but until then – for off-season training – please check out the COK resources page [https://carolinaorienteering.com/resources].  At that webpage you’ll find learning tools and maps of permanent orienteering courses around Charlotte. Since it’s summer – just be careful of things that crawl, sting, and bite….
